"What IS Godric's Hollow? Is is a town, a house, a street, a tree...?"--from an open letter to JK on mugglenet and the HP Lexicon.
"Was James a Chaser, as you said in an interview at one point, or a Seeker? Or did he play both positions?"--from same letter (and yeah, I knew Ann and I weren't crazy! We always thought that somewhere we had hear/read that James was a Chaser. Sarah told us we were nuts.)

"Harry didn’t see his parents die. He was in his cot at the time..."--Jo (ah! it's put in such a flat way!)
"Why did Marcus Flint do an extra year at Hogwarts?
Either I made a mistake or he failed his exams and repeated a year. I think I prefer Marcus making the mistake."--Jo (Ann will be glad to know this)

*attatches to Harry Potter-ness*
The fandom helps me from getting too depressed about things. Yum, escapism.

Note to self: Place tape over mouth to keep from blabbing about politics endlessly.
Also, note to self: Become a big nerd and read all the time. The more you read, the less you have to deal with people (i.e. my friends).

Now I must work on finding a college. Ooh, fun.
But first: I must away with me to the WC.

Cheers.

Two of my mother's friends have had their John Kerry signs stolen this weekend. Another friend had someone attempt to scratch off his Kerry bumper sticker while he was still in the car. It's pretty gross what people do. I have yet to hear about someone's Bush sign getting ripped up. What the hell? Why can't people just talk about their political differences instead of clamming up or committing bad acts? People should be able to be open to debate, though I know it can be hard to hear people bash your candidate and to know all the facts straight without bias. That's probably the hardest part. Having unbiased info. But you can have unbiased info and still be biased yourself and then use that info when appropriate. That's what I try to do. Uhg. It's so hard when very few people really care enough to give up one lunch period once every 2 weeks (unless they have beta club, or other mandatory meetings). Grrr. "Grrr," I say!

I must go make salsa now before my parents kill me.
