"These badass new gods saved me."
Jun. 26th, 2007 01:43 amI was ill today.
I watched some movies and talked to Mike.
Then I talked politics with Nate Rogers, which deteriorated into awfulness.
I learned that I'm a boring, lame, worrywart who no one wants to listen to and I should just put on a nice friendly face for everyone, despite moral anguish, and appear to not give a rats ass about their well being.
Um, needless to say, I really fucking hate being home in a lot of ways.
It's played out.
I want to go back to Beloit people.
Sarah made me some birthday art and then started uploading a bunch of stuff onto deviant art, so now we have a joint account (v. gay of us, but then, aren't we always?). Go look at her awesomeness maybe?
I should go to sleep, but the brain won't stop. I abhor when this happens.

It's come to my attention that I...should do laundry.
...
That's not what I set out to say, actually. I meant to present a case study of how I became obsessed with a pair of pants. I'm not talking about a pair of pants I own or know personally; the pants I speak of are worn by William Beckett of The Academy Is... in the music video for "Snakes on a Plane (Bring It)".
How did this start? Well, after listening to the SOaP soundtrack last weekend, I decided to watch the music video, as I was too busy yelling at Caitlin's livejournal about how awesome the movie was to actually pay attention to the credits. Upon watching it, I noticed that the clothing in said video was v. awesome. I paid more attention the second time around and decided that my favorite were Beckett's pants. I soon began watching just for the pants, so I could bask in their glory...and also figure out how to draw them properly. Then I began doodling in class...
( Visual Evidence )
I believe I am recovering from this love affair with these specific pants, but there will be other irrational obsessions with inanimate objects in the future, I just know it.
End.
P.S. There is a tiny bit of new art on ye olde DeviantArt, including amazing Punk!Harry Potter people by Sarah. Go check it out (there's a link to my account near the top of the navigation stuff on the right).
