I'm at work. There's a loooong meeting going on (about furniture) and I'm supposed to lay low and do a very specific task on this computer (changing one word in the data base on like 150 images). Problem is, I'm done with it and now am stuck in a cubicle with nothing to do but recheck my work over and over and listen the Scissor Sisters. Could be worse.

I'm going to DM a 4e D&D game for my friends. I hope I don't super suck or anything.

Um, con is coming up and Elizabeth and I still haven't gotten anything together. We pretty much need EVERYTHING for our colonial fatigues. I need a grey coat of awesomeness. Lowes fails at giving me a tardis-sized box. It's time to get in gear and take my business elsewhere.

Also, fandom, I didn't realize I missed you this much. I'm glad I've come back. :D

I've been on a gi-normous Marilyn Manson kick for the last week. I believe this will reach its climax when we go to goth night tomorrow and I go fuckcrazy with my ensemble.

Last weekend-ish, went to Jonathan's and watched the Riff Trax of 300 (AMAZING). Ann and Sarah came over to dork out. Katie and Elizabeth came too and we lay on my driveway at 3am and looked for signs of the meteor shower, gave up, and watched The Road to Eldorado. I got v. ill after eating Jack in the Box. Never eat there. Jenny and I craved KFC, but they all close real early and are really pricey. Watched some of The Office at Caitlin's and talked about art and drugs.

The last week at work was pretty anti-climactic. I gallery sat, did culling and office work, and listened to the most insane drama out of that place in twenty years. It's almost too ridiculous to be worth the effort. I'm so glad I'm done, but am sorry to leave my fellow staff members there. D:

Yesterday, Sarah, Elizabeth, Jenny, and I saw Becoming Jane which was good and visually lovely. Unfortunately I was distracted throughout that whole movie by the preview for Elizabeth: The Golden Age. I don't think I've been this excited about a film since LOTR. Every frame looked like a work of art. This film will be the death of me. I am so incredibly psychotically excited. After, Sarah and I grabbed Jonathan and went to Superbad which was pretty much just as funny the second time around. 2am McDonalds is the best. Stayed up until 9am.
Woke up two and a half hours later to help my mom take the dog to the vet (UHG). Ate Piletas :D Met up with Elizabeth, Rose, Chris, Nick, Jonathan, Nate, Kimi, and Rose's friend Andrew at Fido for extended hanging out. Bothered Caitlin at work. Came home because I feel gross, while everyone else goes swing dancing and to a bigass party in Brentwood. Naptime?

Oh, tried to go to the new McDonalds by the park, but no. They said they opened the 16th, THEY LIE.

I'm really excited about going back to school, but really sad to be leaving my friends, who I feel I really didn't see at all this summer, especially Christi, Chris, and Jonathan. D:

I swear, I had something with substance to say...

My paid-ness runs out in two days. I'm gonna be five dollars richer every other month. Oh yeah.

I'm currently avoiding work on a prospectus and annotated bibliography for my McCarthy paper. This time tomorrow I'll be playing poker with my favorite people and all that will stand between me and spring break is one computer science class that I might not even go to. Spring break will own.

I've been ill, just a cold or something for the last week or so, and have only been doing things to make it worse:
After consuming cough syrup Friday I decided it would be okay to have maybe four drinks that night. Was very ill. Luckily Jessie and Jameson are amazing friends and helped me out. I banged my elbow on the bathtub really hard, though and it still hurts like a bitch.
Needless to say, I slept all day Saturday and only ate dinner. Anagram party in W3L, broke Scrabble, dropped in on Christina's birthday party but couldn't really stand to be around so much booze, Risk in W3L in which Mike and I formed an alliance but really I kicked everyone's ass, then for some reason Nate and I stayed up until 5:30 watching anime on tv(including: The Big O, Lupin the 3rd, and Gigantor) before falling asleep on a couch in the lounge until Mike and Abi woke us up on their way to brunch.
Slept more, looked at cat macr0z for two to three hours, did a minimum amount of work, ordered pizza after not eating for a day, watched the Oscars, homeworking while watching Meet John Doe, and sleep.
Skipping class to sleep. Taking lots of drugs to keep the cough and sniffles at bay. Staying awake forever trying to get section 3 done, failing, sleeping for four hours. More drugs. Food. Class. Propaganda poster about racism. Running away from doing computer science work. Singing "Teenage Dirtbag" with Robert in Commons. And now I have recently returned from seeing a pretty awesome music recital which included the amazing string quartet that Nate's part of. I just ended with a preposition and that really bothers me but oh well.
Now I need to stop avoiding work and just do it so I can sleep and actually wake up at 9.

First, chocolate and tissues.

My Rolling Stones '89 Steel Wheels Tour shirt has a huge hole in the back. It's very convenient for back scratching.

What has happened recently?
-I wrote an 11 page paper about Ebola the day before it was due and I think it turned out well.
-I just hit ctrl-s...I have been writing too many papers.
-Kate, Ben, and I am now officially done with film class.
-I've spent an inordinate amount of time in commons (so far the latest I've managed to stay before being kicked out was 7:57--Nate and I were very pleased).
-Sarah+Wyatt=adorable like small children.
-Ted and Robert have been shown the gloriousness of Firefly.
-Fuck.
-I drew a really awesome zombie.
-Blue Stallion=dead, Kate and I tried to get ice cream and he just kind of died.
-Much homeworking with Kate.
-Friday I was happy and at night we were all kind of intoxicated (The Mean Girls drinking game is ingenious). Jameson and I walked Nan home. It was priceless.
-Saturday other people were drunk and had a underwear party in Jameson's room. I hung out with Jameson and Robert in the other room, colored, and was mopey.
-Roomie bonding with Maya and Sally at Sunday dinner.

Classes end on Wednesday and I'm so thrilled...despite the fact that I only have one sentence of this paper on the IRA that's due then. Then one more English paper and a Bio midterm and I AM FREE!!!!!!!!
Until then, back to work and try and not be so lame.

I haven't started working yet...I should and will.
Oh no! People!

This new seminar room will be the death of us all. Well, between that and the new studio building, nothing seems to be going right. There's always some new problem every single day. Something just went wrong this morning involving shelves in the new seminar room being flush against the wall instead of being set out so plugs and wires and such can be run behind them. *dies*

In other news, left my cell phone at home today, grrrr. But I think Fay's going to take me to get it during lunch, yay!

Met part of Nate's family Sunday night. They're a loud bunch, but all v. nice. His grandmother gave me a tour of her Victorian era house, which is uber awesome.

Ann's having issues with work, thankfully it'll be over Friday and perhaps she'll buck up after that.
Sarah and I had a long talk the other night, so everything's good.

....is it just me or was St. Sebastian kinda hot?
