New Year's was tons of fun. Pretty much everyone was there and we had a really grotesquely adorable toast after midnight about being friends for a long long time. Pool, Rockband, Tropic Thunder, booze, and a wonky air mattress. Pretty sure I left my camera at Andrew's house.
I had a phantom hair moment the next morning. Waking up I thought "Shit, all my hair is matted to the back of my head. Tangles. I'll have to shave my head." Then I remembered.
Also, I love Jenny Tang.
Nothing has been accomplished. Well, I've read some stuff I wanted to, but aside from that, very little. My cousin's wedding was really nice. My mom and I went downtown for a while the morning of and looked at all the monuments around the mall, the dinosaur bones at the Natural History Museum, and split up going to the Native American and Air and Space Museums, respectively. I have pictures somewhere. The dance after the wedding had a pretty awesome playlist that Lizzie and George came up with and concluded with everyone who was still there gathering around the dance floor, glasses raised, singing Piano Man (sorry Mitchell).
Elizabeth and Jonathan came over the other night and we watched rifftrax and went through our respective /co/ folders. Jonathan is now addicted. Heh heh heh. I'm starved for contact with people my own age. Going to Repo! with Elizabeth tonight. Perhaps I'll see if anyone else wants to come.
I really hate trying to write this paper with the fiery passion of a thousand suns. I'm waiting to hear back from the Vandy reference librarian as to whether they can help me or not. Guh. From time to time I get paranoid that people are looking at what I'm doing and it's not work, but I don't work here anymore. Paranoid a little?
It might be time for a lj layout overhaul.
Soon it will be sushi time.

"Uuh."

I got home a few days ago. We made the trip in one day, getting home around 3am. I got a new monitor for my computer and it is HUGE (22") and flat. Sarah and I left for Knoxville to be in Charity's wedding on Friday. We did a shitton of decorating and organizing, then stayed up until 4:30 in the morning playing Rockband and this Japanese drum game on the DS. Also, I actually got to see this weeks episode of BSG :D

The wedding itself was actually really cute and nice. Pictures will soon be on the interwebs. Sarah caught to bouquet and was fairly exasperated about it. Sarah and I went to see a few people in Knoxville, which resulted in free beer and cream soda and an amazing pineapple, chicken, and pesto wheat pizza. We talked about a lot of things, mainly how we've kinda turned into completely different people now, which is kind of sad, but something that we just have to accept.

I need to figure out where I'm taking my mom to dinner tonight and start planning out the components of the spartan armor I intend to make. Also, we need better internet up in this bitch like woah.

This is the best school ever.
I was so bored yesterday, until the bachelortte party where Crystal made Christina eat salt pretending it was crack (?). Sadly, we did not get animal strippers, like Christina wanted, but fun was still had.
Today was spent preparing for the wedding. Channing, Crystal, Christina, and I decorated the big tree outside with balloons and put crepe paper in the pavilion (which ended up not being used).
The wedding was awesome, pictures follow.
Channing was the ring bearer, Crystal was the groomsmaid of honor, Jill and Mya were the flower girls, and I was the wedding planner.
Wedding presents: A coloring book, paper cranes, some other stuff, Christina got a Darth Vader mask and a thong for Zeke, and he got her a seven pound can of chocolate pudding for $2.17 at Wal*Mart.
We cooked veggies: fried okra (I made it with help from Holly!), fried eggplant topped with tomatoes and cheese, corn,...and pudding for dessert. Ick. We stuck teddy grams in it...Then people stuck their faces in it. We walked around outside, everyone with pudding on their faces (not me, I carried the pudding). Some people ate some pudding. Yum.
WEDDING! )
Bed time!
