My updates have been rather devoid of content as of late.

First and foremost, pictures.

Letseeeeeeeee... Well, Wednesday before last, the 3rd, I believe, was the last day of classes, so naturally everyone on campus was trashed. Wine and Cheese party at Alliance was amazing. There was fancy Guinness cheese. Kyle, Natalie, Abby, and I all had a little too much wine. Then we had Robert's b-day party which involved us "taking a plane" to Ireland and Robert wearing a sombrero and receiving fireworks. After that we went to the championship frisbee game, didn't watch frisbee at all, and I spent most of the time acting the fool with Christina and Channing, I love them both so much. Upon our return to campus, we got to see a box set on fire and dumped over the side of the Aldrich balcony, sat outside with Mike, Maya, Sam, and Ester and talked for a while. Went to bed.

That weekend was okay. I don't really remember what we did on Friday. Packed and cleaned? Saturday started out pretty okay, with my Art final, huge fireworks Ted set off on the quad, tea in Natalie's room, and running around outside. Sadly, it took a turn for the drama inducing later on. Sunday we put all our crap in storage. I think I spent the rest of Sunday and Monday doing my take home final for Russian history. Ew.

Sarah came to spend the night on Monday, which was pretty swell. Tuesday we spent all day packing my stuff into the car and left for Milwaukee, spent the night at her aunt's house, and then drove to St. Louis on Wednesday (I drove for a really long time which was lots of fun).

St. Louis was fun, despite the fact that we lay around and watched movies most of the time (though we did go to the Botanical Gardens). Pride and Prejudice, Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade, Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, From Dusk Til Dawn, X2, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Star Wars: A New Hope. St. Louis is a really cool city. Oh, we also bought Lyda's (or Tate's) new book Tall, Dark, and Dead which is pretty good so far. We came back to Nashvegas on Saturday. I have to unpack still, which I think I'm going to go do in a sec.

It's been rather rainy and disagreeable out for the last couple of days. Starting work tomorrow (at Vanderbilt again, God help me). Graduation on Thursday (though I counted and there are only 7 member of the class of '06 that I actually care about, compared to 12 or so juniors). Renfest on Saturday (I need to get my outfit together). I can't wait to see everyone (though I did see Kevin last night).

I think that's it...

It's m-fing hot in here.

I now really want to read "The Heart is Deceitful Above All Things" by JT LeRoy. And then see the movie. Summer Storm, 12 and Holding, Full Grown Men, Just Like the Son, and Down in the Valley all look really good. I'm also really excited about X3, but that's far too dorky to discuss in the same paragraph as all those other artsy, meaningful films.

As for the weekend, it was pretty uneventful, but not horrible.
Friday, I was sick (sinus infection-type thing). After dinner I watched Hedwig and the Angry Inch with Christina, Channing, Maya, and Rachel. It was fun. Later, Abby, Maya, and I watched Super Sweet Sixteen in Chapin, waiting around for Zeke and Ian to stop playing video games. Needless to say, we were wasting our time as they never did. We were frustrated. Emperor X played C-haus and they were good but their set was not long enough. Sat in French House, ate jelly beans, and watched MTV until we were really tired and went to bed (at some really lame time like 2).

Saturday, I got pretty much nothing done (I had three essays, assigned at the start of this semester, to write by Monday for Art History). I was pretty cranky all day. Maya was ten times more cranky than me. We threw ourselves about the room a lot. Rachel got us to go on a walk in the dreary, drizzley night. It was actually really nice. We walked down to the cemetery and walked down some of the paths in the cemetery until Maya and I got a little spooked, and we came back home. People went to this jazz thing and this movie thing, while I sat in our room and listened to awesome music and talked to Andrew and got out of my funk. Sally, Maya, and I got dressed up for the Alliance Fetish Ball (as a pregnant woman, a cowgirl, and a nun, respectively). We met up with Abby, Chris, Ian, and Sam and meandered over to the party. It was kinda weird and there were partially naked people there. Tom was speaking to everyone in different languages (he speaks something like 5 or 6). Pretty much all he said in English was yelling "Get Naked!" He made Ian and Chris take off their shirts. Tenley, Ben, Diana, and Emily showed up. Some awkward things happened to various members of our party. Went to Blue House, but it wasn't too exciting. Sat outside for a while. Sat in Chapin for a while. Everybody wanted to go to bed. Maya, Sam, Sally, and I came back to our room and hung out. Sally fell asleep immediately. Maya lay on the floor with a towel over her head for a while and then watched dance videos. Sam and I lay around on Maya's bed and talked about nothing in particular. Around 5am we decided maybe it was a good time to go to bed.

Sunday, I wrote my 3 essays. Exciting. We made dinner in French House, which was fun. That was pretty much the only excitement of the day.

I have two take home exams that I think I get Wednesday (Art and Russian History). Art is due Saturday. Russian is due Monday. I have my Rock History exam Wednesday. I want to be done by Friday night, Sunday at the latest. I know this is dreadfully exciting to hear about, but I'm trying to motivate myself.

On a slightly more exciting, I got into all my classes for next year!
English 190: Heroes, Gods & Fools--MWF 1-2pm and TH 12-1pm
Interdisciplinary Studies 230: Emperor of Ice Cream (basically a film class)--MTWF 12-1pm
Politics 160: International Politics--MWF 9-10am and T 8-9am
Biology 110: Human Biology--MWF 10-12pm

O Summer! Why dost thou linger at such a distance? How is it thou seemed nearer yesterday?

I had 5 classes last week. It was pretty sweet. Tuesday Rachel threw Conan a b-day party, so we watched Late Nite in French House and ate really good vegan chocolate cake. We then watched Michael Jackson videos for at least an hour and a half before going to bed. Wednesday I slept...a lot. Thursday was 4/20, but it wasn't that climactic and lots of people were sober, so it wasn't as unbearable as I had feared.

This was the last official "party weekend" of the year, so we lived large!
Friday, I sat around a lot while some of those people I know went to see Death Cab (but they got me a shirt, which is v. awesome!), then we went to hang out in Sarah W.'s room, had some adventures outside, went to the hip-hop show for a bit, then went back to Sarah's. I think I probably ate close to an entire pizza. Ick. Maya and I fell asleep on Sarah's ginormous bed when we were having a spooning party with Kate, Ted, and Sarah, while listening to The Clash.

Saturday, I woke up around 6, when it was starting to get light out, and was all "ZOMGWTFWHEREAMI!?" for a split second, before realizing and going back to bed until 9 when Maya and I came back home and slept until lunch time. Skipped lunch. Lay around until dinner. Went to the amazingly awesome Drag Show. Abby, Maya, and I headed over to Chapin to join the boys "just like the good ole days!" (yay for Abbyisms). I swear those kids are 10 times more homoerotic when they're drunk than they are when sober. After some drinking and adventures outside, we went to the Michael Jackson party at the OEC. Granted, sometimes the music was undancable and there were heinously long pauses in between songs, but on the whole it was pretty swell, especially when the floor shook from all the dancing and near the end where practically everyone there was sucking face with someone on the dance floor (which was pretty much the entire lower level of the house). At one point we left to see the really bad band at C-haus, but went back to dance crazily. Around 2 in the am the "crew" was no where to be found in the OEC, so Sam and I went outside and sat around for a while before calling Abby. She said something about helping Sarah with her piercing, which sounded awfully not good. Upon entering the Chapin 3rd lounge I saw Sarah Smith lying on the couch, looking at her chest piercing, holding the pliers from Chris's toolbox. After a little bit of arguing and some lying around, Sarah, Sam, and I went outside and sat around on the steps of Chapin while Abby and Chris went to bed. Kids set things on fire at the wall. Some people came by and said they were with MTV and took a picture of us (Sarah still had her t-shirt pulled up around her neck under her sweater, which was kinda exposing). Alex Nee, whom I don't know well but seems pretty cool, came and sat for a while and said some really funny shit. I had to get security to let me into my dorm at maybe 4am, which was kind of an ordeal. Uhg.

Sunday, umm, was verrry slow. Sat around a lot (wait, don't I do that every day?). Saw senior dance shows, which were pretty good. Watched music videos. Maya and I went out on a dinner date and had really good pasta. Ben came to play tonight and we watched Baby-Sitter's Cluband had story time, which involved me reading to Ben and Maya, who were curled up on either side of me, from this pretty interesting British site. An excerpt (Ben's fave): "For some this could result in obsessive cleaning or tidying, but for many the biggest bonus is the sense of sexual liberation which can result in mad, abandoned sex for hours - sometimes days - on end."
Finally, we had tea in Kyle's room and had girl talk while making ribbons for Sexual Assault Awareness Day.

I got no work done all weekend. GO ME!

A quiz thinger and some music videos that make me giggle. )

First: Here are pictures from Friday and Saturday.

Second: Recap of weekend.
Friday
+ Trip to Shockwave with Ian, Chris, Maya, and Sam.
- Got lost on the way there.
+ Golf for Natalie's birthday! Themes included: Cocaine (Abby & Maya dressed up as the Olsen twins), Gilligan's Island (Celeste, Zoe, and Rachel), Prof. Pablo Toral (Chris and Ian), Queer Eye for the Straight Guy (before and after versions of Emily, Ben, and Tenley), swanky british partying (gin and tonic in Sam's room), Arctic Fish (Swedish fish with alcohol in Robert's room), and Velvet Goldmine (with Kyle and me as Mandy and Brian Slade, respectively).
- I got kinda ill after the first hole and had to lie down.
+ Had tons of fun! Also, lots of hugging occurred, which is wonderful.
- Got broken up by security and Alex was an asshole about it and nearly got us in trouble.

Saturday
+ Woke up around 8, cuddled with Maya for a while as we couldn't go back to sleep, and fell back asleep until 12:30.
- Had a wee bit of a hangover.
+ It was super nice out and I went to Cub with Maya and Zeke. We got KFC on the way back.
- Ate KFC.
+ Maya, Kyle, Ben, Natalie, and I got all dressed up in our easter gear to go to the performance at the Methodist church. We're pretty. Especially Ben. )
- Was led astray. Church event was NOT small children performing a play about Easter, but a full blow choir extravaganza that was kinda scary and weird.
+ Zeke's birthday party in his room was uber fun. We ran Chapin third for a night. Everyone was really drunk. I got lots of hugs from everyone and got to know Molly (Ian's insanely nice, cute, and cool girlfriend) better.
- One fight. Two drunken phone calls. Three up-chucks, one of which was very bad and ended in a security write up.

Today was kinda awkward and lame. Walked to Cub again. Had kippers and mac and cheese for dinner. Am really tired.

Well, things are winding down, Zeke, Maya, Mike, and I just ordered food. Yay!
This weekend kinda sucked.

Friday, we threw a David Sedaris themed b-day party for Nina, which was excellent. After that, there was very little going on. Went to the condom party at the Womyn's center and for some reason left with lots of free condoms, I think Ian and Chris want to burn them. Walked around a bit, then went to bed.

Saturday, Maya, Robert, and I watched Dazed and Confused and ate pizza as lunch blew hardcore. Later, we were asked where the rest of "the crew" was, and we responded that Chris, Abby, and Ian were out of town. The first band (The M's) at C-haus was good. Called Abby and, as an April Fool's day prank, left a message telling her the C-haus stage had caught on fire and Ben started saying "Where's Robert!?" & I hung up. There was a depressing lull in activity until we found Mike, walked around and ended up in Brannon with Nan, Sarah, Ted, Christina, and Sally. Talked to Andrew Darche, who drunkenly called me as he is somewhat ridiculous. Had a hallway party. Came back to our room, watched Sex and the City and played old school Oregon Trail. Went to bed.

Today, did absolutely nothing. Blah.

Some pictures... )

Fall Out Boy, anyone?

In addition, here's the first sentence of the essay I have to read for Russian Revolutions: "World War II was a watershed in the articulation of political and ethnonational identities within the Soviet polity." Fuck you, Amir Weiner, write like a normal person. I do not want to read 23 pages of this shit.

Thursday: Had random get together in Abby's room. Long story short, people were doped up and others were tipsy, we lay around for a long time trying to remember the lyrics to Shaggy and Evanescence songs. Thursdays are not supposed to be that fun.

Friday: Hung out with Kyle, whom I love dearly, for a long time. Went to Mr. Beloit, which was really entertaining. Singing the Periodic Table. Juggling. Star Wars theme song played on a bong. Later, went with Abby to C-haus where we found Chris, Ian, Lizzie, Ben, and Sam. Boozed it up a bit. Goofed around there, then at French house, then in Chapin, then at Phi-Psi.

Saturday: Maya & Sally's dance thing. Fairy Tale Ball with Veronica, Jill, Kelsey, and Morgan, which was really fun. Hung out in Porter and pre-gamed. Went to TKE with those people, met up with Sally and Kristina, who I then ran around upstairs in TKE with until I ran into a very intoxicated Abby and Ian. Spent a little longer dancing in TKE before going to find Maya, Chris, and Sam. The six of us then went to Blue House and danced to good music in a very cramped, hot room for a long time. Left around 2 and hung out in Chapin watching Kung-Pow and eating until 4ish. Very excellent night.

Sunday: Was pretty boring and all I really did was homework, walked to Cub, and watched Gimme Shelter.

Now For the Good Stuff: Spring Break Pictures feat. Reid Barber--Sexiest Man Alive )

Also, if you think Rock History is boring and that you don't even really need to go to class ever, why are you taking it? Shouldn't it be interesting? Also, how can you find David Bowie boring? I mean, even if he isn't really your thing, how is that possible? And Alice Cooper? And Iggy Pop? And the Velvet Underground? Glam and performance rock, as a whole? This is especially aggrivating coming from the people who, up until now, hadn't really heard of/listened to any of the other artists, barring The Beatles, mentioned in the course. WTF, PEOPLE!?
winterophelia: (Default)
So, yeah, I got a wee bit drunk Friday...and now my backspace key is not working so well, which is a pain.

Friday: Began at 4 pm. Gathering in Beth's room, as she's our resident 100% Irish girl. Dyed everything green. Went to dinner intoxicated, which was awesome. Ran around, spent a long time on Chapin 3rd, Robert had a party in his room. Ian was drunk for the first time ever and was soooo hyper. Beth made us really awesome shots (she used to work at a liquor store and is thus v. good a mixing drinks. Hung out with V and her absinthe. Went to 910. Dance party in Harry's room. People went to bed and more hanging out was done.

Saturday: Everyone was really burned out from St. Paddy's. Made kick ass duct tape wallets in DIY. Tenley took Ian, Abby, and Chris to this diner thing, leaving Maya and myself with no one. We walked downtown with Rachel, saw scary people yelling, were frightened by creepy cars, and hid in a pub. Came back to campus and people went to bed, Maya and I were driven to drink. We were saved by a v. drunken Ben and Emily who took us to watch Strangers with Candy and the Sally brought a bunch of people over and they played Disney Trivial Pursuit and Kristina kicked everyone's ass. I ate waaay too much pizza.

Sunday: It was really nice outside. Went to the protest, which was good, but it just made me want to be home, where I feel I can make a bigger difference. The day was pretty uneventful. Zeke and I walked to the store, which was nice. He made dinner for us and I made dessert while the boys tried to blow things up.

Today I did not want to get out of bed, but I did, went to class, took a shower and did laundry. Learned about drugs in Rock History. Lost my school wallet somewhere. Had a really long dinner and sat with a lot of different people. Denny found plastic in his food. Ew. We're supposed to have a prospie gathering in our room at 9 o' cock. Everyone is v. late. Justin just gave me cold pizza and cookies. Score.

I will now attempt to cover all of break as well as the unnecessarily exciting afternoon/evening I have just had.

Saturday: Went to airport @ ungodly hour w/ Abby, Maya, and Robert. Went home. Saw my parents. Was sad about my seriously ill dog. Sarah came and picked me up and we drove around for a while before deciding to just go back to my house and she spent the night.

Sunday: Sarah left for St. Louis. Hung out with my mom. Watched the Oscars. Complained.

Monday: Did stuff with my parents...? I don't really remember at all.

Tuesday: Went to the park in the afternoon to see Kevin, Blake, Nate, BJ, Chris, Chris's roommate, Alex, Caitlin, and Reid! Went with the latter three to Flashback and everyone at the park called us eight billion times to ask us where we went. Stole Nate's car and drove it around the park listening to Journey loudly. Went to Great Escape. Bought Han Solo pin. Met up with Katie. Went to Taco Bell. Went home.

Wednesday: Drove for 2 hours to my grandparent's house. Found awesome dress in Winchester that did not fit me. Was v. sad. Project Runway=Daniel did not win. T__T

Thursday: Drove 2 hours home. Told random semi-emogoth chick in McDonalds that I liked her Trigun sweatshirt and made her happy. Watched Boondock Saints and Mystery Men.

Friday: Ran errands with my mom. Went to Christi's kick ass party fo Reid. So much debauchery and Guitar Hero. Sarah made lots of Brokeback Mountain jokes in reference to the two of us. She also impersonated Michelle Williams (as she really looks like her a lot) drunk at an Oscar after party. "Keria Knightly. Have I ever told you how British you are!?" Roadtripped with Alex!!!!!!...and Kevin. People were uber drunk. A little bit of vomiting. It was amazing.

Saturday: Brunch at ihop. Lots of honey mustard sauce. Hung out at Christi's watched beginning and end of Howl's Moving Castle as I was kidnapped half way through by Sarah. Flew kites. Said bye to people, made me sad.

Sunday: Came back to Beloit. Ran into Abby, Chris, Maya, and Channing on the bus (yay!). Room wasis messy. Sally is gone. Walked to La Casa Grande with Ben, Nina, and Maya. Ate good food. Walked back in pouring rain w/little bit of lightning. It was quite the adventure. Planned to go to Chapin, but it was so scary outside as it was constantly lightning and there was thunder. Finally sucked it up and ran to Whitney, then to Aldrich, and used the tunnel. At one point the tornado sirens went off and we all thought we should go down to the basement and were uber confused because they went off and the RA said security hadn't called him....so we hung out in Chris and Ian's room for a while after the whole tornado-scare. It's nice to be back.

Soooo, I stole some pictures from Christi's facebook as mine will not be ready for a while.

Yes. )

Besides Matt Damon breaking my heart, what else happened this weekend?
Well, Friday Jill went to Anime Club with Veronica and Me and she actually enjoyed it (watched more Samurai Champloo, which Jill affectionately calls "Shampoo").
Then we did work maybe? Yeah, and watched Spirited Away. And Maya felt ill.
Saturday, went normally: slept until 12:00, lunch, anime club, massive fun! Beth, Jill, Veronica, and I got all dressed up and went to the Player's Ball. There are pictures under the cut.
Sunday, did work and went to Shogun with Beth, Jill, Veronica, and Jason. It was amazing. Introduced V to the wonders of eel. Ate a lot of other people's food. The chef did awesome tricks.

Also, Maya and I found a roomie!!! We were having a hard time finding someone who's semi-messy and really laid back and willing to move, but then we found someone who really couldn't have been better suited: SALLY! I'm really sad to be moving away from my lovely girls (Christina, Sarah, Channing, and Uyen), but I will visit them and play often! I love them all sooooo much. We're planning one more awesome roommate bonding activity.

Must go to bed so I can get up and do a quick write up of my community service crap for FYI.
We're having hot chocolate (w/maybe a little extra something, maybe) and pie, I think for our last class. I'm going to miss it a lot!

I love it here big, but I really can't wait until Wed. when I get to go home and spend time with my mom and dad. And drive. OMG. I NEED TO DRIVE!!!!!!!!!11111one

random crap under here... )

Time for my weekly update.
The week was pretty good. The weekend rocked hardcore. Alumni weekend, good stuff. Haha.
I need to read a lot for history tomorrow and pick out my damn Greek monologue and remind Sarah to do that too. I also must remember that I have a meeting at 6:30 tomorrow with my awesome writing teacher.

Friday I had my first radio show and it was a disaster as they have pretty much NO oldies music. I ended up playing a bunch of Loreena McKennitt, some Bill Monroe, Beatles, Gorillaz, and other random stuff. My official anachronism of the week was "Westfall" by Okkervil River (Caitlin, you rock!). Colin said he burns all of his shows onto one disk, so I think I'll do that.
The night was spent with Christina. We hung out with Max, Jimmy, Nate, a few other guys, and some tequila (I didn't really hang out with the tequila as much as some members of our group) in 840 for a while before bugging Sean and Mary, finding Nan, going back to 840, running around for a while, going to C-Haus, running into Robert, going back to Christina's to pick up some drinks, bugging Zeke, hanging out with Sarah, meeting a whole bunch of the guys who live upstairs, watching the video for "I Believe in a Thing Called Love", watching AMAZING drunken DDR, and going to bed. Good fun, except for the part where I didn't feel so great and had a hard time sleeping.

Saturday I got up at 1:00pm and killed lots of time pretending to do work. Zeke and I went to the grocery store and he tried to get me to buy him a bottle or a tippy cup. He got Jake a roasted chicken for his birthday, which he stuck candles in. We found a porno birthday card on the side of the road that Zeke also gave to Jake. Then I hung around the dorm....I got kinda restless as it got later. Allison, Channing, and I went outside to walk around and we ran into Beth, who offered some rum. I was the only one who took her up on it. On her roommate's desk was a big brown bag with XXX written in black marker on it. There was a plastic handle of whiskey in it that was almost gone. Ick. Zeke called as we were on our way out so we went to find him. He had mixed up some pretty good white russian in a water bottle. Zeke, Channing, and I then frolicked over to 840 looking for Christina and Sally. Ended up finding Ivy, Nate, Jimmy, and Max, so we hung out with them. Max was pretty smashed, but Nate was really gone. Zeke, Channing, and Ivy left to play chess, so I went around outside with Nate and Max. Met some new people, only one of which I actually remember his name. Nate kept running off and coming back. We found Christina, who was determined to be Iris's spotter even though she was pretty drunk. Sally, Max, and I spent a long time keeping track of Christina and Iris as they walked around everywhere. We lost Nate permanently. Then Max and I lost everyone and just walked around together for a while, which was a lot of fun. Eventually, I headed in, but took a small detour and hung out with Sarah and this guy who lives across the hall. Pizza at 2:30 in the morning is great. I slept v. well.
Saturday night stats:
% of people on campus that were drunk: 99%
# of people taken to hospital: 3
# of people escorted home by security: a lot
# of people that tried to play mini golf: 7
# of people bitten by Christina: at least 6
# of gaydefinitely not gay make out sessions that happened within 12 inches of me: 1
# of staircases climbed: 8 Hundred Million
# of times I was in 840 for less than five minutes: 3

Today, woke up around 11:30, just in time to eat bad food in Commons. I'm hoping I'm not getting sick. Uhg. Read a lot, went to belly dancing lessons with Christina, read more, made tacos with Zeke and Christina. Socialized a bit with people. Now I really need to read for history.
Uhg.
winterophelia: (Default)
I should totally be in bed.

...buuuuut, I'm not.

Had so much fun last night and today.
Last night Christina (non-roommate) and I went all over the place. We hung out with Austin for a long time, trying to call Sean, and kept getting his evil voicemail: "Hey, how ya' doing? What's up?.....Where are you?....At the tone, please record your message." Kristina actually called and was tricked and then called back a few minutes later and was tricked again....but she was kinda drunk at that point.
Before that, the three of us watched Donnie Darko, walked over to Blue House, just to discover it sucked really bad if you weren't going to smoke and drink expensive icky beer, and left, and went into TKE, but the party still hadn't started, so we left there too. At one point we found the kinda improv dance party in this one dorm room where they were playing old pop music (Bloodhound Gang and Eiffel 65) and techno so Christina and I went and danced a lot and Austin left. Then went back to TKE where we met up with a bunch of people, had some pink lemonade slushies that apparently tasted like they had vodka in them (I couldn't taste it). Danced some (ghettodancingomggasp!), we ran around upstairs in TKE with this guy Nate looking for Sean who was apparently kinda sick, but we were distracted by Flogging Molly. The three of us finally left, came back to my dorm, and lay on the floor in Sarah's room for about an hour. I made Christina ramen noodles. Sarah came home kind of drunk and washed dishes.

Today, Sarah and I were v. productive: did laundry, made a cake, she cleaned her room and the bathroom. Fire alarm mid-afternoon woke half of the dorm up. Evan was v. upset. Zeke and I ordered foods. Not Pizza. Thank God. Not Vegetarian either. Woo! He's so funny. So is Crystal. She flung a spoonful of ice cream at him randomly. He left a surprise for Christina in her bed....(nothing too weird, don't worry) They talked to Blake on Skype. It was entertaining.

I got nothing. I need to go to bed.
winterophelia: (Default)
Hall parties=fun.
I went to the ice cream social thing with two of my roommates, and we sat with Christina's friends from her pre-orientation thing. At first they were planning to go watch a movie, but then we tossed around a frisbee in the dark a bit, Channing left, and I went with Christina up to the first floor of Aldrich and had a party that was in two rooms across the hall from one another. All rap music. We all had to dance. It's a great way to get to know people. They just come in and start dancing and it's great. We passed "the pimp hat" around...and basically had fun.

Now I need to shower.

No. Julia Roberts looks really bad in this movie.

People are at Kevin's, but I'm here because I have work...and parents who don't like me to be away too much.
Even if I was there, I'd just end up hanging out with Kevin and maybe Chris as Sarah has better people to talk to. I'll see Kevin tomorrow, so I don't really care about not going tonight...but still. I'm leaving in less than a month. I wish I wasn't.

So, anyway.
Party for Rose Saturday went well, considering a bunch of people decided to go to South Carolina last minute Thursday night. Sometimes I think they're all living life a little too fast.
Sunday I got new pants that are v. nice.
Tuesday we saw Rose off in the morning and then had a sad bastard get together that night.
Today more hanging out, but I had to go home and nobody loves me enough to be awake enough to drive me home at 11 or something. But, as I said before, I don't really care all that much. It's just the principle of the thing.

Now it's time for pictures.

Pictures, yo. )
