"[insert witty quote here]"
Jun. 9th, 2005 12:48 amStuff sucks.
It sucks big.
I hate people.
They suck sometimes.
I miss Sarah.
Things don't suck in an "OMFG-Kill-Me-Now-I'm-So-Depressed-Suicidal-While-I-Listen-To-Pink-Floyd" way.
They just aren't good because for some reason people need to live their lives through things instead of just sucking it up and letting life smack them directly in the face. If you don't let it do that or realize that other people do that then you're not really going to be ready for the world unless you stay in your bubble and only let people who conform to you inside your bubble.
I mean come on people, learn to grow and accept a little.
It won't kill you.
Plus it makes life more exciting and comfortable.
I'm not saying go to drugs or start smoking or drinking.
I'm just saying step out of your mind and everything you think you know about right and wrong and fucking live a little!
Accepting doesn't mean you have to change, it just means you don't have to change everyone you meet so they can be like you and you can be friends with them. Without diversity nothing is interesting and it borders on worlds like the ones in 1984 and A Handmaid's Tale. A cult collective mentality. Brainwashing. It's scary.
You're just going to end up alone if you're too short sighted and prudish, and no one wants that. I certainly don't want that to be the case for anyone.
Then again, these people might have the right thing in mind if our society keeps getting softer and softer and we all have to conform, but that's getting a little extreme, no?
And college is going to be one big smack in the face.
Unless you go somewhere prudish. *coughVanderbiltcough*
Challenge the norms.
Don't live inside a bubble.
It's bad for you.
Not to mention uber boring.
Get a life.
Change won't kill you.
I promise.
Unless it's change in your genetic make up, then it might.
Or you'll just become a mutant and fight crime.
I never listen to Pink Floyd.
Edit: Guess who I hate?

Date: 2005-06-09 03:57 pm (UTC)Back in the winter of freshman year (LOL!!!), I listened to nothing but Pink Floyd for like... 2 months or something. It was horrible. I don't remember much that happened during that time, except that it made me incredibly depressed and zombie-like.
EVIL. EVIL, I TELL YOU! AHHHHH!!
Much like Coldplay did at that same exact time of my life.
Who's the culprit, then? TEH FLOYD? Or COLDPLAY?! You decide.
KBYE.

You just inspired me and got me thinking about the big picture and my past experiences and whatnot.
Yay!
