This weekend was fun.
Pictures.
Friday, we played with Maya and Chris's hookahs with a ton of people and sang along to motown songs loudly, the band at C-haus was dancable and British, Ken was really trashed, and things just winded down anti-climatically.
Saturday was a little bit more like the old days, but with more people. We went to Chapin and played the "Family Guy" drinking game (a drink for every tangent) and people smoked and everyone was basically pretty out of it. We listened to lots of rap and then then went to C-haus. Sexfist=old guys playing traditional bluegrass...wtf? Kinda kept going back and forth between C-haus and Theta, but ended up in the Music house talking to Andrew while Celeste and Angie watched "Trapped in the Closet". Maya and I ended the night with an episode of "Are You Afraid of the Dark?".
Sunday=work and radio show, which I think went well.
Guys, I have to say, I'm really liking Panic! at the Disco right now. They actually sound really different from all those other bands who all sound alike (The Starting Line, Fall Out Boy, The Academy Is.., etc.) Vegas has really been churning out pretty boy, pop-rock bands, and by bands I mean also Brandon Flowers (so much for that argument). Really, the shit those kids wear sometimes is amazing. I really wish guys dressed all fancy and awesome like that on a regular basis. Was I male, I'd do it for sure. Crap, sometimes I really wish I was a guy...is that weird of me?
...I'm pretty sure that's all I have to say.
Oh, wait, one more thing. I made a blogger thing for my radio show, where I'm writing down my playlists and stuff. There's a link to it near the top of the navigation bar over on the right. Whee!
Now I'm done.

Oh, Brandon Flowers.
That's not so weird of you. You know I wish that sometimes, too… for the both of us.
You wear pretty awesome stuff now, but yeah, boys do get to have all the goods. But then again…
Heaven loves them.
The crowds part for them.
Nothing stands in their way…
Cause they're boys.

Date: 2006-09-19 05:17 am (UTC)And you wish that for both of us because you know we'd be hot and aloof and really really ambiguous about our sexuality.
