Jul. 18th, 2006 06:39 pmI kinda wish I hadn't put my change in the tip jar now, but I was feeling generous fifteen minutes ago and now I'm frugal. Anyways, I'm at Fido waiting for Sarah and Co. to get here so we can jog over to the Belcourt to see Strangers with Candy. I wish I was with those Beloit kids to see it, but this will do. Wait. Doesn't Clerks II come out on Friday? Crap. I need to stop spending money. I tried on this 15$ pair of pants at Posh but they are the funniest fitting pants I've ever encountered. The pockets were on the front of my thighs almost below the crotch of the pants. They were just really extra weird.
I should be writing more of Car Pirates, but I'm finding my dialog to be lacking in...everything. I think that pretty much every conversation I write is okay, but in my mind it's utter crap. I need to do a bit more with character concepts before I continue.
Went to Kevin's on Saturday. Much fun was had. Kevin and I had to spend almost an hour of our time driving back to Taco Bell and waiting in a heinously long line to get our correct order. We did what Jonathan referred to as "Theatrical Improvisation" (and Christi referred to as "Playing Make-believe") in the pool from about 12:30am until 3:00am. That was good exercise. Sunday, I spent the night at Sarah's mom's new apartment, which is pretty nice. We watched Breakfast on Pluto and ate square pizza. Her mom's a hoot.
Last night my mom and I saw PotC2. I liked it even more this time, now that I already knew how I felt about the characters. Elizabeth really annoyed me in this one. She also looks like a weird, long-necked alien for most of the film. I like Keria Knightly just fine, I just really couldn't stand Miss Swann in this one.
I have this red bump on my knee, like a mosquito bite. It's been there for 3 days. I'm beginning to be concerned. I'm also beginning to ramble a bit, but it's not like anyone is looking at what I write as they walk past. Hell, I could be writing explicit porn on here and no one around me would be the wiser.
