My power cord, it is dead. Not having a laptop after having one for a long time is really weird. Not being able to just get online and look stuff up is exceedingly obnoxious. Perhaps now I'll actually get work done, unless I spend all my time here in the computer lab.
I went home on Wednesday and was whisked away to my aunt and uncle's house by my relatives, where we just kind of sat and watched tv until bed.
Thursday I got up earlier than ever before (like 8:00am), drove for a long time, puttered around the house, ate a whole whole whole lot of food, and puttered around some more before bed.
Friday, we made a course dinner (I made potato leek soup), I ran into Ms. York at the store, and more puttering. We did not play pounce at all and there was no cousins-only outing, which really sucked. Thanksgiving was just kind of weird and rushed this year.
Saturday I finally went to my house. My mom and I ate a whole bunch of samples at Costco for lunch. I met up with Kira, Christi, Elizabeth, Blake, Nate, Kevin, Bryan, Caitlin, and Becca in the park where we hung out for a long time before going to Nate's for his birthday party-thing with his family. We gave him his own laptop for his birthday (it was still warm). We MST3Ked Mission Impossible 3, which was actually good and really entertaining. We also watched Slither and Sarah Brown came by for a bit.
Now I'm back in Beloit and I have so much crap to do in the next few weeks, but I think I'll be done on the 15th and then just be hanging around here...maybe I can steal the free trial of the wow game from Veronica.
