Weekend was...interesting.
On Friday, Maya and I realized that everyone had either gone home or to a concert. We moped around, and ended up ordering food and trying to watch Velvet Goldmine with some people in our dorm.
Saturday, hung out with Jill and Veronica. Went to the Literary Ball, Jill as Grover, Veronica as Arthur Dent, Kelsey as Random Slytherin Girl #4, Christina as Harriet the Spy, Crystal as Huck Finn, and Me as Art Spiegelman. We split up, Veronica and I set out for Porter, Jill, Kelsey, Will, and Morgan went to Polka lessons. Killer lightning. Torrential downpours. Electricity flickering off. We were soaked, so we borrowed Beth's clothes (I still have her pants which are uber awesome Dolce & Gabbana jeans). Beth and I are going to throw a Flogging Molly party. Went upstairs and played flip cup with a bunch of juniors, which was actually pretty fun. Jill came up, then we set out, Beth wiped out, TKE was ehhh, ran into Robert, hung out in my room for a bit, found Kristina, Austin...and some other people. TKE, Porter, Jill went home, C-Haus, lost Beth, Brannon, finally 840, where Robert and Veronica played chess, I took lots of random pictures, we ate pizza, played Halo, and watched some of Red vs. Blue Season 1. Back to bed around 4:30.
Sunday, nothing much happened until dinner time when we, Maya, Tenley, Emily, Zeke, Nan, Chris, and I, went to La Casa Grande. SO MUCH FOOD AAHHHHH!!!! We nearly died on the way over. Chris went to the bathroom in the brush on our way back.
Everyone's been really out of it. Our history prof. let us out 20 min early because she hadn't posted the reading online and everyone was half-dead.
Soooooooooooooooo happy there's no class Wed.
I need to read a bit for FYI. Blarhg.
I also need to look at the Nutcracker script to see where I have to cut the lights and such. Children, uhg. There's this one kid, Jesse, who's the Nutcracker, who Morgan was supposed to read lines with. He said, sitting with his legs crossed, script held aloft, "This character is very self-centered and I just can't play a character so self-centered."
