winteropheliaPOA. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Yay. Fangirlness....must...contain self......Wait....I can't...oh no!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I kid.) So I shall just discuss the events leading up to the film and not the film itself, which will take great effort. I shall resist.
So.
Sarah came and picked me up...and then THIS happened!
Yes. But we bought ice cream and sat in the car as we waited for the tow truck to come drag us out of my ditch. Then we were off....to Sarah's house where we lay around and talked excitedly and pretended to clean up. Then Katie called, needing tickets, but the theater was sold out. Hermione (Sarah) and Ron (me) were without their Harry (Katie). We were sad. So we went to Party City where we had heard they had Harry Potter costumes. While looking for the display we found neat (and free) fancy-shmancy envelopes with a picture "autographed" by Rupert, Emma, and Daniel. Ooh. Then we found them. The children's costumes. Quidditch and school robes. So we bought them. Sarah wore the Quidditch uniform:

Sarah told the woman at the counter not to bother with putting them in a bag because we were just going to gift wrap them when we got home. She proceeded to run out of the store squealing after paying for them, completely blowing our cover. We listened to Tenacious D to regain our digni--wait, nevermind. Went home. Changed. Went to the theater at 9:00 (stopping for num nums @ McDonalds where Sarah's father threatened to send us in for food because we looked funny). Sarah was angry because we were not first in line, but at about 11:00 the line wound all over the place so she was glad we were so near to the front.
We were there, sitting in line, for three hours (Sarah's mom showed up at about 11:30).

boredfairy, wende_dormiens , and some of their friends, including a girl who goes to my school (I wonder if she was the one with fan art on her locker...). They were most awesome. It was neat to meet people in real life! XD
We stood around some. Then we went into the theater. Sarah got us awesome seats. I don't think I can fully explain the wonder and awesomeness of sitting in a theater with all those people who had to be either crazy or mad fans to be there at 12:01am. The people sitting in front of us were great. They said funny things before the film began and during the unimportant previews (though they were silent for the Spiderman 2 preview and boo-ed the Catwoman preview) but they shut up when the movie began. The screen was stuck on the "Regal Entertainment Group" logo page for about 5 minutes. People in the back began clapping slowly in protest and then as more and more people began clapping the clapping became faster before weakly fizzling out. The movie started.
It Was Awesome.
Afterwords, we spent forever getting home through the fog and with no gas. We complained and raved and squealed about the movie until about 5 and fell asleep.
So ends the tale of Harry Potter-ness. I shall be seeing the film again soon (maybe Sunday) and Sammi NEEDS to see it! I BELIEVE IN YOU!
Okay... it's off to get sleep so I can take the big bad SAT tomorrow.
