winteropheliaIt's been a while. I come bearing gifts, and by gifts I mean tales. And by tales I mean vague recollections of things that have happened in my slightly mundane life since I last updated:
1) Thanksgiving. Saw friends. Hung out with my group of guys (Cashon, Kevin, Blake, and Nate, but Chris was missing), which was most excellent as I miss them dearly! Saw Dylan, who was utterly adorable. Saw Aunt Issy! Hardcore cousin bonding--we went to Coco and it was great & than saw Walk the Line the next day. Played pounce, drank white russians, and generally had a great time. Drove all the way to my grandparents house.
2) Became deathly ill on Sat/Sun. Had to fly later in the day as I felt really nauseous and had tunnel vision. Apparently it was just a cold, but wtf. Traveled from 2:30-8:30. Plane was delayed twice. Was not happy en route, but I was SO happy when I got back.
3) Stayed in bed all day Monday and part of Tuesday. Lost my voice Tuesday-Wednesday, still can't quite talk right. No History class all week, it was glorious.
4) Friday, hung out with Jill and Veronica. We got locked in the library @ 10, as we are the only ones dorky enough to be trying to study on a Friday night (we were there for about 2 hours and got absolutely nothing done).
5) Saturday, pretended to work all day, and by all day I mean I got up at 12:00, yelled about the snow, stayed at lunch until 1:45ish, played in the snow for half an hour, and went to anime club at 3. Walked to Cub in the snow. It snowed a lot, Jill thinks about 5 inches. Bought a flying saucer sled thing. Dinner. Drinking. Played flipcup with Veronica, Jason, and Beth. Played in the snow with a big red ball for a long time with Jill, Veronica, Zeke, Bob, Beth, Jason...and whoever happened to be walking by. Went to TKE with Veronica, but it was a little awkward without a small group, so we sat around a lot and tried to avoid people. After TKE got out at 2, played in the snow with some people. Phyo dive tackled me into the snow which was amazing. Went to bed.
6) Today, More pretending to do work. Walked to KFC with Zeke. We were both really out of it. We also are both really looking forward to winter break. Personally, I can't wait to go places with my mom, and just bum around the house, though I might go to NYC after New Years to visit Maya, Abby, Chris, and everyone else who's going to be there. Anyway, I just got done watching A Clockwork Orange with Abby and Maya. I <3 them. Maya's trying to get me to be active now. I will attempt to distract her with Freaks and Geeks.
