Work has been that weird combination of intensely interesting but frightfully dull. I learned that the highest population of attractive painters were in nineteenth century Germany. Go figure. Also Henri Felix Philippoteaux painted the most adorable portrait of Napoleon evar. I'm going to be gallery sitting starting Wednesday. If you wanna come by and see me as well as kick ass Chinese art from ever ago, I'll be there 12-4 Wed-Sat & Tues-Wed. :D Speaking of art, there are new arts on ye olde DeviantArt.

On Friday Ann and Sarah came over to have a Harry Potter pow-wow. We went to the youth center for a little bit, went to walmart to buy a v. cheap item so as to get cash back to go buy foods at 1am, drove forever trying to find an open mcyukkos, and settled for suck in the box.

Ann left ridiculously early in the morning. We finally got up and went to Magistra's house for an ice cream social. There were maybe eight people there, but it was kind of nice to not have to see all the people who took Latin that were bitches in high school, only good people were there. Magistra's amazing and we looked at old convention pictures. Left with Jenny in tow, picked up Caitlin, and went to Hickory Hollow to take advantage of tax free shopping.
THAT. MALL. IS. GHETTO.
Needless to say we left after maybe forty-five minutes, picked up Elizabeth, and went to Opry Mills. Briley Parkway is AMAZING. Construction is pretty much done and it looks incredible. We all freaked the fuck out when we saw it, seeing as none of us ever go out that way. Anyway, shopping blah blah. Ran into Kira and Beth! I got weird skinny boys plaid pants and a silver belt for the Maiden buckle. :D As we were leaving there was an adorable puppy on top of a car.

On our way to Coco to meet up with Sarah's friends Brent and Rhiannon, we took a detour into the park and ghost rode to Mistah FAB. I only managed to get two pictures (1 and 2) while dancing. It was great, to say the least. Saw Jeremiah (<3!), met people, smoked hookah, talked, and came home. Sarah and I watched the first large portion of The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert while stuffing our faces with delicious jalapeƱo and cilantro hummus and fell asleep.

Today went shopping with my mother and got more PANTS :D. I am now ready to go back to school, and I think we're driving up, which is SUPER exciting. Also, registered for Geek Kon in Madison in early October. I'm wondering if I should try and run a panel on budget costuming and take my Firefly and Pirates stuff. It'd be fun, I think. Sarah's probably coming and I'm wondering if we can force some of the w3l people into costumes. Anyway, this has been way longer than I intended. The End.

AWE... Jenny for some reason thought that that thing with Ann was something different, and not said, "pow wow", which was much talked about. Oh well. Still the mall was fun, as was ghost riding the car!
