I'm thirsty as sin and have no change or dollars for the drink machine next door. Piss.
Coping with the end of Who by watching other stuff. Life on Mars is really good. The Sarah Jane Adventures are also surprisingly fun. Also, finding BBC shows that aired 4+ years ago is haaaaard.
Other than that, I'm done with Oceanography, working most of the time, trying to knit a Tom Baker scarf, and hanging out with my mom. I kinda want to go back to school, but not before I've made my mom watch all this crap I've been watching.
When Dad met Mom, she was still seeing this kinda doofy guy and she left him for Dad (even though she didn't really know Dad that well at the time), but they're still friends. Over the years Mom got to know Dad really well and stayed with him even after he went through some huge changes. At one point they even tried out polygamy and both dated this really awesome omnisexual guy for a while. We were a nice, happy family.
Then something horrible happened and Mom and Dad separated, though neither of them wanted to. Dad was really sad, so he hung out with Auntie for a while, but she wasn't too sure about traveling with us, so we went on without her.
Then Dad got a new girlfriend, though he tried to insist it was nothing serious for a while. We really didn't like Dad's new girlfriend for a long time. Dad seemed to like her, though so we went on with it. Dad's omnisexual ex-boyfriend came round for a visit, but it wasn't quite the same. It wasn't until Dad's super bitter ex-lover from forever ago took Dad, dad's ex-bf, and Dad's new girlfriend's family hostage and the new girlfriend saved the world, that we finally started liking her. She knew though that Dad wasn't as into her as she was into him, and that he still really missed Mom, so she left us, but on really good terms.
Dad took us on a cruise and flirted with one of the waitresses a lot, and she was okay, we guess, but it just wasn't meant to be. Dad spent some time alone, working a lot. One day he ran into Auntie, who had been trying to get a hold of him FOREVER. She had changed her mind and wanted to move in with us. Dad was really pleased and so were we (Auntie's awesome). We went all kinds of neat places with them.
One day all of Dad's exes got in touch with him all at once. It was kinda weird, but a lot of fun to see all of them again. Then Mom came back. Dad was so happy. A bunch of exciting adventure stuff happened, and then things got kind of weird: Auntie almost got killed; all of Dad's exes, Mom's ex-boyfriend, and Gran threatened to blow up stuff to save the human race; dad cloned himself; Auntie started acting like Dad. Auntie ended up saving everyone. It was awesome. We would have liked it if it ended there with everyone together. Dad's exes are all pretty great.
Dad's ex-girlfriend from way back left first to take care of her son.
Next, Dad's girlfriend who we now think is pretty awesome left along with Mom's ex-bf, and Dad & Mom's omnisexual boyfriend. We really wish he would stick around with Dad, actually, and would be really mad about it, but his new boyfriend is really awesome (at one point we stayed with them and their manic-depressive friends for a while; it was ...interesting).
Then Dad took Mom back to where she lived after they split up. He told her to take the clone of himself. We were really confused and kind of disappointed in both of them. But, we still had Auntie, who was MORE awesome, if possible, since she'd started acting weird like Dad.
Then Dad gave her amnesia and took her back home.
Fuck you, Dad.
That took all of my lunch break. Jesus.
