I've been doing a little bit better recently.
There was no class Wednesday and it was beautiful outside. We talked about forming rival gangs on campus just to spice up life.
Thursday was equally beautiful and I spent about 5 hours sitting outside. I talked to Jim Gannon about getting into his class next semester. Kate, Robert, Sophie, Ted, and I went to Dairy Queen to buy ice cream and then went down to the docks on the river where we sat in the pleasant weather next to inexplicable amounts of goose poop. We wandered over to the pirate park for a bit before heading back for dinner, where I sat for over 2 hours.
I slept through Bio on Friday. Went to a surprise party for Hilary and then to the Motown party at Alliance where I got to see Channing, Crystal, and Christina. Maya, Alina, Sophie, and I pushed the beds together in Sophie's room and all cuddled and fell asleep until 5am.
I was in the worst mood ever on Saturday. I sat on my bed doing nothing for 7 hours, leaving to use the restroom twice. I got to that bad place where you start thinking "What am I even doing here? Why do I exist? This is the most pointless thing ever." Ted got me to go to Jessie's room and watch A New Hope with a bunch of people and drink hot chocolate with Bailey's. We talked about how emo-tastic Luke is and I explained the Kessel Run and generally just geeked way out. There were definitely people in the hallway playing a violin and an accordion for a while. Robert, Jameson, and I are going to write a pilot script for a zombie tv show. It will rule. Did shots in Chapin. Randomly closed myself and others in the little closet next to the sink. Went to the "Playa's Ball" and didn't recognize anyone there, so we left to drink more in Chapin. Some of those people went back to the party and I stayed with Robert and Jameson and had a rant-fest about how much Beloit sucks in a social/romantic/hook-up way and how frustrating everything is in that regard. It was fantastic. Just to yell and bitch about stuff with guys for a change. I love all my female friends a whole lot, but sometimes the estrogen is a little overwhelming. We did that pretty much for the rest of the night. Jessie and I got lost three different times trying to get back to Brannon.
Today, Maya, Ruby, and I watched Mean Girls; I did my radio show which was an utter disaster; went to Subway with Ted, Robert, and Maya; and watched High Noon for film class.
I'm still hungry, actually.
