Obama won. A ray of light in the darkness.

Rose cried. Rose cried when Kerry conceded.

I'm watching the news and they're talking about what the Dems can to to broaden the party's appeal.
Um, how the fuck is defending civil liberties, the freedoms our country is BASED on NOT appealing?!?

I hope they understand. Dear god, I hope they all understand that all americans don't think like he does. The crackpot cristian fundamentalists in bum-fuck back country Tennessee think like that. I don't. Davidson county doesn't. Yes, maybe it's because we have the projects, but those people probably know more about life than anyone else.

I want to vomit.

Someone said during lunch today that people don't want a leader who will let them choose, they want a king, someone to tell them what to do so they can keep doing what they're doing in their own private lives and only have to deal with the country when they have to.

Someone should start a revolution. A PEACEFUL revolution, mind you. Violence will get you no where. I will gladly join any such movement.

Kevin said he had a dream in which Clinton was still president. He said it was the happiest dream he ever had.

Dean made me cry, for the first time today. So much hope. I don't just cry for my own defeat. I cry for all of America. For our place in the world. For all our futures.

I'm going to go pray to my higher power.

And then, I'm going to start fighting for...I don't know what. I guess to protect our liberties. I will make a difference.
