It's snowing. More.
It feels like I've been back here for an eternity, but it's only been a week now. I keep on catching myself vaguely thinking in the back of my mind, "I hope Maya knows where we're sitting and isn't lost." I feel like I'm kind of losing touch with some people since she isn't here. It's bizarre.
I hung out with lovely people (Ted, Robert, Kate, Sarah, Nan, Jessie, Christina, Jameson, and Kira) on Friday and played Apples to Apples. I stayed up talking to Jameson, as usual, until 4:30ish in the am.
I had big plans for myself on "Chicken Finger Day" (Saturday)--brunch then doing study abroad stuff until 4--I ended up spending forever at brunch, going to DQ with Beth and Christina, and playing wow for the half hour I had before going to Chapin 3rd at 4.
The night before we had planned to start drinking at 4 and proceed to Commons around 5, then stay there the entire time and eat chicken fingers until we exploded. Watched Ted, Robert, Sally, Nan, Christina, and Jameson play the Killer Bunnies game, which makes little to no sense, filled up flasks with Sailor Jerry and Wild Turkey, and went to dinner.
Drinking at dinner is amazing. Nan, Jameson, Christina, and I were the only people who really did, but we had a grand old time. Jameson kept being really creepy. New Saturday activity! We were there for about 2 hours.
After, Jameson, Robert, Nate, Ted, Nan, Christina, and I played Apples to Apples forever. When Christina and Nan left things got a little weirder. At one point the word was "Explosive" and I put down "Princess Di". We also discussed midget porn. In preparation for the "Oh My God Shoes" party, Jessie and Ted made robot masks, then we all frolicked forth, leaving Robert behind and losing Nate to Whitney 3rd.
Shoes party=Amazing. Dancing, drinking, black lights, and, of course, shoes. Ended up in TKE talking to Ken for two/three hours. When I left at 4 it was silent outside and snow was falling in big fluffy pieces in the lamp light. It was such a nice way to end a fun night.
Now I have a bunch of reading and laundry I should do and I might need something else to eat as brunch was thoroughly disappointing. I get my christmas mouse from Jim Gannon's mother tomorrow! The best friends mission is going splendidly.
I think I might be pretty happy right now, imagine that.
